Our Current Mission

Helping Hands for Heroes, powered by TrueVet Solutions, is a transformative initiative aimed at ending veteran homelessness in Jacksonville, Florida. We are building an 82-unit transitional housing facility dedicated to restoring dignity, stability, and hope for the men and women who have served our country.

Tracy "TJ" Glover, CEO

An Army Veteran, community builder, and relentless advocate for our nation's heroes. His firsthand experience of military life fuels his passion and purpose to Helping Hands for Heroes. Under his leadership, we're not just serving veterans - we're building systems that restore dignity, create opportunity and change lives.

Whether he's strategizing in the boardroom or playing chess with local retirees, TJ leads this team with heart, humility, and a deep commitment to those who've served.

Fontane Johnson, COO

Also an Army Veteran, strategist at heart and a leader by nature, Fontane brings years of operational expertise and passion for impact to Helping Hands for Heroes. He's the kind of leader who knows how to connect and turns ideas into action, and action into measurable change.

From refining our systems to driving business outcomes, Fontane ensures every move we make is rooted in purpose and built for growth.

Crystal Gaines, CMO

Our powerhouse Chief Marketing Officer has a dynamic background in media and broadcast journalism. She knows how to share the stories that matter. Whether she is crafting campaigns building brand awareness, or leveling up our digital presence, she brings creativity, strategy, and heart to everything she touches.

When she's not making magic behind the scenes, you might catch her gaming like a pro.

Beth Ann Kovacs, CCIO

As Chief Community Impact Officer at Helping Hands for Heroes, Beth Ann infuses the role with deep personal passion. Her family's military legacy—grandparents who served in wars, a husband who's a 82nd Airborne veteran, and a son in Navy ROTC at USF—fuels her commitment to supporting veterans and families.

A versatile leader bridging corporate and nonprofit worlds, she leverages expertise in sales, event planning, CRM tech, and project management to forge meaningful connections and deliver lasting community benefits.

Outside work, she empowers women through painting as meditation and self-discovery, her empathy and idea-to-impact talent making her a force for good.
